​Equans is looking for a Mobile Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join our team in South of England (South London & areas just outside). This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.What will you deliver?Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems.Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements across plant and equipment, responding promptly to emergency breakdowns including participation in an on-call rota.Supervise and manage third-party contractor work as required, ensuring work meets Equans’ health, safety, and environmental standards.Maintain accurate records via CAFM systems and electronic reporting tools, provide input into condition and dilapidation reports, and liaise effectively with clients to ensure excellent customer service.What can we offer you?On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:24 days annual leave (+ public holidays)Life Cover Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailersGym membership discountsCycle to work schemeHoliday purchase scheme2 corporate social responsibility days per yearBroad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmesAttractive Employee Referral Rewards SchemeAccess to our growing employee networks24/7 Employee Assistance Program and access to mental wellbeing appWho are you?Possess a recognised apprenticeship (EITB/CITB) or relevant technical qualifications, with City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical/mechanical disciplines.Hold an 18th Edition Electrical Certification and full UK driving licence.Experienced in M&E services within commercial or corporate environments, familiar with CAFM systems.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.Awareness of Legionella control (L8) and working knowledge of health and safety regulations.(Desirable) Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH) and experience working with multiple manufacturer systems and equipment.Background ChecksThis role may require applicants to undergo Disclosure checks or security vetting as part of the recruitment process.
