We're looking for a School Caretaker who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Role Responsibilities

-Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.

-Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.

-Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.

-Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.

-Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.

What we're looking for

-Previous caretaking experience (preferred but not essential).

-Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Open, honest, self-driven, and determined.

-Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality, with willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
