full-time role, around 40-45 hours per week; Temp to Perm

Ongoing job based on a weekly rota Monday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met at all times.
• Assist with setting up tables, ensuring the dining area is clean and well-presented before and after service.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, food preparation methods, and dietary options to answer guest queries confidently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly.
• Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, resolving any concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills.

Requirement

• Proven experience as a waiter in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting is essential.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper serving techniques.
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic maths skills for billing and order accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximise revenue opportunities.
