Permanent We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Oncology Outpatients team at The London Clinic. The Role

Working within our Oncology Outpatients department, you will support patients attending for consultations, investigations and cancer treatments. We are looking for someone who has previously worked on a hospital ward and is confident providing direct patient care within a busy clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Supporting patients attending the Oncology Outpatients department, including those receiving chemotherapy and other cancer related treatments Assisting patients with mobility, personal care, comfort and nutritional needs Monitoring and reporting patient observations and any changes in condition to the nursing team Preparing clinical areas, equipment and treatment rooms for patient appointments and procedures Supporting Registered Nurses during clinical procedures and treatments Maintaining accurate patient documentation and records Ensuring clinical and non-clinical stock levels are maintained Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and colleagues Participating in team handovers, meetings and service improvement activities What We're Looking For We are looking for a caring and professional Healthcare Assistant who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a hospital ward environment Experience providing direct patient care in an acute healthcare setting NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload A compassionate and patient focused approach to care What We Offer At The London Clinic, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
