Clinical Support Role As a healthcare assistant, you will be responsible for assisting and caring for patients and their family in a fast-paced and dynamic clinical environment. The role of the health care assistant is to provide support to the multi-disciplinary team, provide high quality care to patients, ensuring patient safety and supporting the patients and their carers throughout their outpatient journey. We are looking for an enthusiastic healthcare assistant to work in Childrens Outpatients and Ambulatory Care department. Applicants need to have excellent communication and organization skills, positive personality and a professional approach to their work. You must be able to deal with the public in a sensitive and polite manner, be flexible in their approach to duties of work, act as part of a team, and promote good teamwork. You will enjoy a challenging varied pace and an exciting working environment, caring for a varied paediatric workload. We can offer opportunities to gain knowledge and experience working within a diverse range of specialties. Part of the role will include assisting consultants and nurses during their clinics, chaperoning, taking vital signs, phlebotomy, clinic set up, ensuring stock and equipment is available and safe to use.
