Seller Compliance Assistant (Plymouth)

As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Seller Compliance & Analyst Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth or London Office.

Role Overview

The Seller Compliance Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the Marketplace team, helping to ensure sellers remain compliant, operational processes run smoothly, and key performance data is maintained accurately. This role will support marketplace operations, seller compliance, reporting and administrative processes, reporting directly to the Seller Compliance & Analyst Lead.

Responsibilities

You will be required to

  • Conduct new seller due diligence and compliance checks.
  • Monitor seller accounts, identify potential risk indicators, and escalate compliance or operational concerns to the Seller Compliance & Analyst Lead or relevant internal teams.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of seller records, trackers and operational documentation.
  • Produce regular reports on seller performance, orders and compliance metrics.
  • Assist in monitoring late orders, cancellations and customer service issues.
  • Investigate and escalate operational issues to relevant internal teams.
  • Support product and catalogue audits to ensure information remains accurate, complete and compliant with marketplace requirements.
  • Help monitor seller stock availability and delivery performance.
  • Manage and update internal reporting spreadsheets and dashboards.
  • Assist with Marketplace ticket management through Zendesk and other systems.
  • Support the onboarding and setup of new sellers where required.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve seller queries and operational issues.
  • Identify process improvements and raise recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketplace team.
  • Handle seller, customer and business information confidentially and in line with internal data protection requirements.

Essential & Preferred Skills & Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, lookups and basic data analysis.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Comfortable working with data and reporting.
  • Positive and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Interest in ecommerce, marketplaces and online retail.
  • Previous experience with Mirakl, Zendesk, Power BI or similar tools would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with accuracy and discretion

Permanent, Full-time, In-Office.

Hours

Monday – Friday, 08:45 – 17:30.
