Home Instead is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Professionals to join our team in Barnstaple. As a Care Professional, you will provide non-medical services to help our clients remain comfortably and safely in their own homes, enhancing their quality of life with dignity, pride, care, and compassion. Responsibilities
+ Uphold and reflect the core values of Home Instead.
+ Provide companionship and engaging activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
+ Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, with sensitivity and respect.
+ Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
+ Provide medication support where needed
+ Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
+ Document daily activities and promptly report any significant changes in a client's needs or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
Requirements
+ Genuine passion for providing care and support to older adults.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
+ Must be able to pass a DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
+ Access to reliable transportation is essential.
+ Experience in caregiving is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
