The Opportunity
A great opportunity has become available for a reliable and safety-focused Stock Mover to join a fast-paced fresh produce operation in Tonbridge, Kent.
This role is key to ensuring the smooth movement of stock across the packhouse and warehouse, supporting production efficiency while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and operational standards.
You will be responsible for transporting, organising, and managing stock using FLT equipment, ensuring all product is handled safely and correctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Movement & Operations
- Move finished goods, pallets, and bins safely between production, storage, and dispatch areas
- Ensure all fruit and packaging is handled in a way that prevents damage
- Set up production lines before and during production runs
- Remove leftover packaging or stock from previous jobs
- Weigh juice and generate manual bin labels with correct net weights
- Transfer finished goods to warehouse or storage locations
Stock Control & Accuracy
- Check all stock matches pallet labels (product, packaging type, quantity)
- Perform WIP (Work in Progress) in and out functions when required
- Scan and accurately locate all moved pallets on the system
- Ensure all pallets and bins are correctly labelled (Class I, Class II, Juice etc.)
- Report any stock discrepancies to the Line Leader immediately
- Support accurate traceability at all times
Health & Safety / Food Safety
- Always operate all FLT/MHE equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure pallets are securely strapped and safe for movement
- Follow all site Health & Safety procedures, GMP and HACCP standards
- Always wear correct PPE and ensure hygiene standards are maintained
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects or hazards
- Support a clean as you go working environment
- Assist with emergency procedures if trained
Administration
- Complete all stock movement and operational paperwork accurately and on time
- Record movements and update system data
- Ensure documentation is signed, dated, and completed correctly
- Support traceability and stock accuracy through system updates
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Support production and warehouse teams where required
- Provide cover for colleagues when needed
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude always
- Highlight inefficiencies or improvements to support better operations
- Work flexibly to support business needs
What We’re Looking For
- Valid FLT (Fork truck Experience) required
- Experience in a warehouse, FMCG, or fresh produce environment (preferred)
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, flexible, and team-focused attitude
- Basic understanding of stock control systems (desirable)
