Consultant in Paediatric Anaesthesia

We are looking for candidates trained in Paediatric Anaesthesia who are of the right calibre to add additional valuable contribution to our team. We encourage applications from those with interests in quality improvement, theatre productivity, IT, management, research and teaching. Additionally experience in paediatric acute pain management will be advantageous. The department has a special interest in teaching & training, regional anaesthesia, patient optimisation & difficult airway skills. We have an active role in the Trusts high fidelity simulation centre. Our anaesthetic sites are equipped with Drger Primus or Fabius (MRI) anaesthetic machines, Phillips monitors & GE and Sonosite ultrasound for nerve blocks. There is close liaison with the PICU. All new employment contracts include elective weekend working. This is an excellent opportunity to join a first-class team in a busy and progressive central London teaching hospital.
