The Role
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in running a high-volume kitchen
- Lead service and take charge in the Head Chef’s absence
- Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality
- Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness
- Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
- Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
- Passionate about fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible with working hours and shifts
