The Role

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in running a high-volume kitchen
  • Lead service and take charge in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality
  • Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture

About You

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
  • Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
  • Passionate about fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Flexible with working hours and shifts
