About this role
We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated candidate who can deliver high quality effective training on our clinical systems to colleagues. Training is delivered in person at various locations across the county and virtually via MS Teams.
Through attendance at team/service line meetings, you will support staff by acting as an interface between clinical services and Digital teams, identifying training needs and providing targeted interventions in order to protect the integrity and accuracy of patient data and ultimately, patient safety.
If you are friendly, a great communicator, enthusiastic about helping people and enjoy working with digital tools then this is a great role providing a crucial service to patient facing staff in the Trust.
Provide information, knowledge, and training, where required, to clinical system users.
Proactively respond to queries and approved requests for support and training, through various channels such as face to face, telephone and line of business, to ensure safe and secure use of clinical systems at all times
Actively seek feedback from staff in relation to the quality of training, recording this appropriately, so it provides a means by which tomonitor and indicate improvements in the service
Facilitate and promote the collection of accurate and high-quality data on all Trust clinical systems, suggesting ways to enhance the work of teams and improve the use of systems where appropriate.
Through approved governance frameworks such as CPRD groups, liaise withstaff to interpret their business requirements and advice on solutions design, based on guiding principles, Trust policies and procedures
Where appropriate, actively participate and comment on policies and procedures to be developed in relation to the use of information systems
Support user groups, e.g., admin focus group, clinical design authority, supporting Digital Trainers to assist in data quality improvement as required
Developing support documents and FAQs for users
The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It serves a population of around 470,000 people, a figure that can increase significantly with visitors during the busiest times of the year. We employ approximately 6,700 staff and have a budget of approximately £740 million.
