About the Role

You'll support six individuals (five gentlemen and one lady), aged from their 20s to 60s, each living in their own self-contained flat within a supported living setting. There is no core shared support — you'll focus on building strong, meaningful relationships and tailoring support to each person's unique needs.

People you'll support may have

* Autism

* Learning disabilities

* Cerebral palsy

* Epilepsy

* Behaviours of distress (three people have PBS plans)

Shifts include

7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Late

3:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Day

10:00 AM - 6:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

*

Sleep-in

10:00 PM - 7:00 AM

About You

We're looking for someone who is

* A driver with an auto-friendly licence (essential)

Whether you're experienced or completely new to support work, we'll provide all the training you need to thrive.

What Will You Be Doing?

* Personal care, varying by individual needs

* Promoting independence and supporting skill-building

* Adapting communication styles to suit each person

* Cooking and meal preparation, including following SALT plans

* Administering medication, including rescue medication for epilepsy

* Following PBS plans to support individuals with behaviours of distress

* Lone working while staying connected to the wider team
