About the Role

You'll be supporting a gentleman in his 50s with learning disabilities and autism who thrives on routine, enjoys friendly conversation, and values consistent, respectful relationships.

Support is primarily 1

1, with some 2:1 sessions during the week, and includes lone-working during sleep-ins and long-day shifts.

Shifts include

Long Day with Sleep-In

10:00 AM - 10:00 AM (next day)

• 2:1 support (Mon, Wed,

Fri)

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• 1-2 sleep-in shifts per week

His interests include socialising, coffee and lunch trips, shopping at B&M, and maintaining a structured daily routine.

About You

You'll bring warmth, patience, and confidence—especially in moments where someone may be distressed. You'll be self-aware in your tone and timing, creative in planning activities, and attentive to the routines that help this gentleman feel secure.

(Experience with behaviours of distress or PROACT-SCIPr-UK is desirable, but full training is provided.)
