About this role
We are seeking a well-organised and adaptable Senior Administrator to join our Diagnostic Medical Physics department within the Diagnostics & Therapies Division. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave.
This is a key administrative role supporting a specialist scientific service that ensures the safe use of imaging equipment across UHBW and for external customers. The department also contributes to teaching, training and research. You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive group of colleagues who are committed to delivering high-quality work, even under pressure.
You’ll provide a mix of general and specialist administrative support, working closely with the Medical Physics Business Manager and the wider team.
Tasks include
- Supporting meetings, diary management, and departmental communications
- Updating the Health Roster and supporting the maintenance of the department Risk Register
- Assisting with procurement, quotations, and invoicing
- Helping develop and maintain filing systems and standard operating procedures
- Supporting the department’s Quality Management System as a Q-Pulse super-user
You’ll also act as a key point of contact for admin queries.
