Registered Nurse (RN) – Supported Living & Community Care (Wiltshire)

We are expanding our services across Wiltshire and are now recruiting compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our clinical team.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical oversight, direct nursing care, and professional guidance to support staff within supported living and community settings. You will ensure safe, effective, and person‑centred care in line with CQC standards and NMC requirements.

This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys autonomy, community‑based work, and making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality nursing care to adults in supported living and community environments
  • Complete clinical assessments, care plans, and risk assessments
  • Administer medication, including controlled drugs, following NMC and company policies
  • Provide clinical oversight for complex care needs (PEG, epilepsy, diabetes, wound care, etc.)
  • Support and guide care staff with clinical tasks and best practice
  • Monitor health conditions and respond to changes promptly
  • Liaise with GPs, hospitals, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and CQC regulations
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality checks, and service improvements
  • Support with training and competency assessments for care staff
  • Contribute to on call support as required

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration (RNLD, RMN, or RGN)
  • Experience in community care, supported living, or learning disability services (preferred)
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to travel across Wiltshire (car driver preferred)

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with complex care (e.g., PEG, tracheostomy, epilepsy management)
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Training or mentoring experience
  • Full UK driving licence
