Our client, a leading provider of specialist education services in Somerset, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Education Support Worker to join their team in Weston-super-Mare. This is a full-time position with a competitive daily rate of £92.59 - £100.
As an SEMH Education Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting young learners with complex needs, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one and small group support, implementing personalised behaviour management strategies, and collaborating with the wider educational team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the students.
We are looking for individuals who possess a genuine passion for working with young people, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of SEMH. Prior experience in a similar role or within the education sector would be highly advantageous, but we are also interested in hearing from those who can demonstrate a transferable skill set and a willingness to learn.
