Our client is looking for an experienced, energetic, and people-focused Restaurant General Manager / Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day running of their stylish restaurant and rooms business near St Austell.

What the Role Involves

• Leading daily restaurant and operational activities
• Managing and motivating a dedicated hospitality team
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences and service standards
• Managing staff rotas, labour costs, and team performance
• Supporting recruitment, training, and team development
• Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
• Maintaining high standards across service, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and operational efficiencies
• Helping drive business performance and continued growth

What They’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior hospitality leader
• A confident and approachable leadership style
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
• A hands-on attitude with excellent attention to detail
• Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and team development
• Commercial awareness and operational understanding
• Due to the location, own transport is essential
