I am looking for a reliable and supportive self employed female personal assistant to help me with day-to-day tasks, household support, and personal care. This role would suit someone who is organised, empathetic, and proactive, with a positive attitude and a willingness to adapt when my health fluctuates.

I live alone with my dog. I have multiple chemical sensitivities, so awareness around fragrances and products is important. My interests include health & fitness, nature, creative writing, music, dance, cooking, mindfulness, and community advocacy.

Main Duties

Personal care

support with washing and dressing.

Household tasks

cleaning, tidying, laundry, and general organisation.

Food-related support

shopping, meal preparation, cooking, and planning meals (with awareness of gluten and lactose intolerance).

Medication & health

prompts for medication and supplements; support attending appointments; encouragement with exercise, movement, and rehabilitation activities.

Community access & companionship

engaging socially, supporting me to get out, walking my dog, and accompanying me to activities.

Admin support

help with computer use, correspondence, phone calls, and paperwork.

Physical support

lifting, carrying, and moving items when needed.Essential

Driving support

ability to drive essential; you may use my Motability vehicle (insurance included).About You

• Female (preferred for personal care).
• Honest, reliable, and punctual.
• Organised and proactive, with good communication skills.
• Physically strong enough to assist with lifting and carrying.
• Understanding of ADHD, chronic illness, and fatigue (or willing to learn).
• Flexible and supportive, able to adapt to changing routines.
• Comfortable with dogs and able to walk my dog.
• Computer literate and able to assist with admin tasks.
• Driving licence essential; own car an advantage.

Hours

5 hours each week, with a degree of flexibility. Occasional weekend day.

Pay

To be agreed up to £20.00, as a self-employed worker you must be registered with HMRC and undertaken your own tax reporting. Have a DBS and appropriate insurance. This position does not attract statutory rights such as leave entitlement.
