  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the unique needs of SEN students
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to develop and implement comprehensive support plans for students
  • Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure optimal learning outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your SEN teaching skills
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Extensive experience working with SEN students, preferably in a supply teaching or full-time role
  • Thorough understanding of SEN teaching methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Adaptability and a patient, empathetic approach to working with students with diverse needs
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest SEN teaching techniques
