Key Responsibilities & Search Criteria

We are looking for a Secondary English Teacher who is ready to deliver results across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Curriculum Delivery

Plan and execute lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE English specifications.

Data-Driven Progress

Use assessment data to bridge attainment gaps and support student growth.

Classroom Leadership

Maintain a focused, inclusive learning environment using effective behaviour management strategies.

Pastoral Care

Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the holistic well being of our students.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this English Teaching job, you must meet the following

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Mandatory for this role.

Degree

A BA/MA in English Literature, Language, or a related field.

Experience

Proven history of teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.

Compliance

A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one) and a commitment to safeguarding.
