Your Role as a 1

1 Specialist

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you are the bridge between the curriculum and the student's unique way of learning.

Personalised Support

Work 1

1 to implement EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets using sensory breaks, visual timetables, and simplified tasks.

Emotional Coaching

Assist students in developing self-regulation skills and social confidence in a mainstream or resource-base setting.

Collaborative Reporting

Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and external therapists to track progress and adjust support strategies.

Inclusion Advocacy

Ensure every student, regardless of their needs, feels safe, valued, and included in school life.
