Sefton Park Infants and Juniors School, Bristol, BS7 9BJ

Hours

17 hours per week

Working Pattern

Monday to Thursday, Approx. 2:30pm–6:30pm

Pay

£13:00 to £14:00 per hour depending on experience

We are looking for a confident and reliable Site Lead to run our after-school club at Sefton Park Infant and Junior School.

This role would suit someone with experience in childcare, schools, wraparound care or youth work who enjoys leading a small team and creating a safe, fun environment for children.

Main Duties

Create a fun, inclusive, welcoming environment where children feel safe and engaged

Plan sessions, order supplies, and keep basic records up to date

Build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff

Act as the Designated Lead on site, with full support from our central team on safeguarding and compliance

Make sure health & safety and safeguarding standards are consistently followed

Requirements

Experience working with primary-aged children in schools or clubs

Leadership or supervisory experience

Good safeguarding knowledge and basic IT skills

Level 2+ childcare/playwork qualification (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
