About this role

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Cambridge. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.

The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

Providing 1

1 and small group support to students with SEN

  • Supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support
  • Helping to deliver engaging and accessible learning activities
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
  • Psychology, education or care background welcomed
  • Supportive and experienced leadership team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
