About this role
Liskeard Dental Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly, privately owned NHS Practice. We are a welcoming practice with a supportive team and onsite free parking.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in dentistry. No previous experience is required as we’ll provide full on the job training and support you through your Dental Nurse qualification.
You’ll be part of a caring, professional team working alongside experienced clinicians, gaining hands-on experience in all areas of patient care, from routine check-ups to advanced treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and clinicians during patient treatments.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, instruments, and materials.
- Ensure excellent standards of cleanliness and infection control.
- Support patients to feel comfortable and cared for during their visit.
- Carry out administrative duties as needed to support the team.
About You
- No dental experience required, full training provided.
- Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Well-organised and able to work in a busy environment.
- Good communication skills and a caring attitude.
- Committed to completing your dental nurse qualification through workplace training and home study.
