Purpose of the role

We are looking for a nurse with an interest in developing their contraception and sexual health skills. We need someone who can work in a dynamic team in Truro and the surrounding county of Cornwall and is self-motivated to develop the specialist skills to provide sexual health and contraceptive care.

Work effectively as part of a clinical team to deliver high quality services to clients, by providing contraception and sexual health services to clients in line with excellent clinical practice and undertaking practical training and theoretical study (from a Brook approved course provider) to become a CASH Health Nurse on completion.

Essential criteria

Vaginal examination skills

Cervical screening skills

UK drivers license and access to a car

Current Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Nurse (Sub part 1 of the NMC register)

Part-Time 15 Hours per week (will consider more for the right candidate)

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)
