Learning Support Assistant

Nestled at the heart of our village, our school offers a rewarding role for someone looking to become a key part of a small, friendly community. This job provides the opportunity to help our children flourish in a supportive environment where every face is known and every contribution is truly valued. Your duties would be varied including small group work, supporting in class, 1:1 interventions and providing support at lunchtime either helping in the dining hall or supervising play in our beautiful grounds. Your ability to form positive relationships will be crucial in creating a supportive learning environment.

West Tytherley is one of two village schools which make up the Federation of Broughton and West Tytherley. Under the Federation, each school remains separate but works together under a single Governing Body and an Executive Head Teacher - Mrs. Macey. Each school retains its unique character, and both Broughton and West Tytherley pride themselves on their caring, small-school approach where children are known and valued as individuals. The federation provides a friendly and progressive environment to work in and we offer an excellent induction and professional development opportunities beyond those available to individual village schools. We provide an effective and supportive program of CPD which is adapted to meet the current needs of the staff.

EHCC Grade B/C (£12.85 – £13.60 per hour, depending on experience)

Hours of Work

8:45-3:15pm with 30 mins lunch break (6 hours per day 35 hours per week)
