Warehouse Operative (1000-1800)

About this role

We are delighted to be supporting our well-established client who have several storage facilities located across Wiltshire. This is a full-time and permanent role and a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly company with progression opportunities available including Forklift training.

This role is a full time position, Monday to Friday and the working hours will be 10:00am – 18:00pm (1000-1800). You will be situated in the operations department and will be required to report to the warehouse supervisor. When you are training the working hours will be 8:00am – 16:00pm (0800-1600).

Personal development and responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and others are taken as a mandatory part of everyone’s role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE

  • Accurately picking stock
  • Assisting with stock rotation
  • Loading and unloading
  • Putting stock away once delivered
  • Forklift operating (full training provided)
  • Adhering to Health and Safety at all times
  • General warehouse duties
  • Keeping the working area clean and tidy

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive with duties.
  • The ability to work under your own initiative and within a team.
  • Previous warehouse skills.
  • Own transport due to location.

Hours of work

1000-1800 (10am-6pm)

To ensure you are able to meet these requirements, training will be given in line with business objectives. You will be required to do a visual and numeracy test.
