As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and guidance to students, helping them navigate the challenges they may face and develop positive behaviours that will set them up for success. Your role will involve working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting the students' needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behaviour management, with a proven track record of creating and implementing effective strategies to address challenging behaviours. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with students and foster positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored behaviour management plans for individual students
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them develop self-regulation and positive coping mechanisms
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to student progress and behaviour
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant degree or diploma in a related field, such as education, psychology, or social work
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices
