About this role

We are looking for five organised and proactive Domiciliary Care Coordinators to join our growing care team. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role responsible for coordinating care visits, supporting care staff, and ensuring clients receive safe, reliable, and person-centred care in their own homes.

You will play a key role in managing rotas, responding to day-to-day operational challenges, and maintaining high-quality care standards in line with CQC requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Allocate and schedule care workers to client visits

Maintain accurate staff rotas and ensure continuity of care

Match carers to clients based on needs, skills, and location

Respond quickly to emergencies including staff sickness and cancellations

Communicate daily with clients, families, and care staff

Maintain care records and update care plans where required

Support compliance with CQC regulations and company policies

Monitor attendance, punctuality, and quality of service delivery

Work closely with the Registered Manager and wider care team

Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of care staff

Skills and Experience Required

Strong organisational and time management skills

Experience working in domiciliary care or health & social care

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Understanding of care compliance and safeguarding

Confident using rota and care management systems such as CarePlanner, Birdie, or Nourish

Desirable Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Previous experience as a Care Coordinator or Field Care Supervisor

Safeguarding Requirement

An enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) is required for this role

Must be willing to undergo safeguarding checks and vetting procedures in line with CQC regulations
