Would you like to be part of a busy and modern kitchen leading a team to provide each day a high quality, freshly prepared hot dinner for the children and staff within an outstanding Primary School? If so, we are wishing to recruit a Chef to join the wider catering team who work across the schools.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Chef who will deliver the unique and well-renowned family dining service that provides meals for Yeo Valley pupils. You will be supporting the Head Chef, Deputy Head Chef, and wider catering team to deliver an exciting menu which we design in house. We currently cater for over a 100 pupils and staff daily, plus ad hoc visitors. We also run a café for staff and parents that you will oversee.

Your Role

Prepare high‑quality, freshly cooked hot meals each day for pupils, staff, and visitors

Lead and support a small kitchen team to deliver our family‑dining service

Work closely with the Head Chef, Deputy Head Chef and wider catering team

Oversee the café service for staff and parents, including daily offerings

Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety and kitchen standards

What We Offer

This is a permanent position Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week for 40 weeks a year. The day begins at 9am and finishes at 3pm.
