About this role
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day leadership of the invasive physiology team/service across Somerset and provide leadership within the Department, ensuring compliance against standard operating procedures and performance metrics To contribute to the creation of a care environment and culture that delivers a consistently high standard of patient-centred care To participate in the development of a patient-centred service that responds to changing health care needs and provides rapid access to appropriate care To promote high professional standards and quality of care for patients, responding appropriately to concerns, complaints and commendations from the patients and user groups, assessing on a daily, individualised basis that the service is meeting its users' needs and expectations Act as patient advocate ensuring relevant investigations, procedures, treatments and follow-up appointments are arranged and understood, using professional channels of communication to address unnecessary or distressing delays along each individual's experience Maintain clear, concise and up-to-date clinical records.
