Evenings & Nights £16.90 - £18.18. Days £13.00-£13.99 - dependent on experience & qualifications held

Contract type

Permanent, Full-time

Working hours

Monday-Friday between the hours of 17:00-07:00. 40-50+ hours per week with weekend overtime also available. Enhanced rate between 19:00 to 06:00.

About the role

Due to recent growth in our TM team, we currently have opportunities for multiple 12C Supervisors / Impact Protection Vehicle (IPV) Drivers, who will be responsible for overseeing and delivering safe, compliant traffic management operations on high-speed roads in accordance with Chapter 8 and NHSS 12C standards. The role combines on-site supervision with the safe operation of IPV vehicles to protect workforce and road users during mobile or short-duration works.

Requirements

  • Valid NHSS 12C qualification at Supervisor level - can be trained up if have HGV licence.
  • HGV Class 2 and Full UK drivers licence is essential.
  • Previous experience in high-speed traffic management environments.
  • Strong understanding of Chapter 8 regulations and safety procedures
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, safety-critical decisions
  • Flexible approach to working hours (including nights and weekends)
