About this role
Established, family-run, Joinery Manufacturer requires Painter/Spray Painter/General All-Rounder to work as part of a team in the Joinery Workshop.
Any experience with spray painting would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given. The successful candidate would be in charge of keeping the workshop clean, overseeing and checking manufactured items before being painted/sprayed and keeping stocks up-to-date as necessary.
The position also involves the delivering and collection of manufactured items to customers and suppliers so the candidate needs to have a full driving licence. The position also involves helping out with day-to-day activities, assisting Joiners when necessary in the workshop as well as on site.
Experience in using fork-lifts would be beneficial as the unloading of materials is often required. Our ideal candidate needs to be physically fit as heavy lifting is sometimes involved.
The role is for someone looking for a permanent position working within a friendly successful expanding company. Should be able to work part as a team, be 'hands on' and have a good sense of humour.
Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30 am – 4.30 pm and Fridays 8.00 am - 1.00 pm with scheduled breaks.
