We are looking for Swimming Teachers for Thornbury Active Lifestyle Centre!

Your role will include...

Teaching swimming to the required program
Keeping records of the learners achievements
Ensuring that lessons are set up and cleared away in line with Circadian Trust procedures
Maintaining a safe environment at all times following health and safety guidance
Supporting environmental systems and promoting healthy lifestyles

You will..

Be a good communicator and have knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
Take pride in your work, are always on time, organised and totally reliable.
Hold at least STA Level 2 Award in Swim Teaching qualification.
Receive excellent training, career development and the opportunity to work with like-minded people.

Pay = £16 (L1), £17 (L2) p/h

Swim

Please note that we no longer accept Swim England Level 1 qualifications. If you hold this qualification, we are happy to consider

your application, but we will request that you attend an STA Level 2 Award course prior to starting your role with us. We will

also ask you to attend a poolside assessment as part of the interview process.

Please note that the STA have two qualifications – the Level 2 Award and the Level 2 Certificate. Although the STA refer to them

both as Level 2, the Certificate is a higher qualification.

In order to differentiate the two qualifications, we refer to teachers who are Award qualified as Level 1 and will be paid at

Level 1 rate, and teachers that are Certificate qualified as Level 2 and will be paid at Level 2 rate.
