Be the person who helps a child believe they can.
At Alphington Primary School, we know the moments children remember most are often the ones where they felt safe, valued and truly believed in.
The warm welcome at the classroom door. The encouragement to keep trying. The adult who notices when a child is struggling - and helps them find their confidence again.
These moments matter.
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our warm and welcoming school. Someone who understands that supporting children is about far more than learning alone - it’s about building confidence, nurturing curiosity and helping every child feel they belong. As we are seeking to appoint more than one Teaching Assistant, with opportunities available across a range of year groups, including Early Years. We warmly encourage applicants to outline their relevant skills and experience in their application to help us consider the most suitable placement.
At Alphington, we strive to provide the very best environment for children to aspire, achieve and flourish. We are proud of our caring and inclusive ethos, where every child is known as an individual and relationships with families are genuinely valued.
Visitors often comment that our ethos can be felt the moment they walk through our doors. Our school is full of warmth, creativity and ambition. We believe academic excellence and emotional wellbeing go hand in hand, and our broad, balanced and exciting curriculum helps children grow into happy, confident learners with enquiring minds.
