A leading engineering and manufacturing business based in Christchurch is looking for a Temporary Fabricator to start ASAP and assist with an influx of in orders.

The company specialises in high-quality structures and glazing solutions and are seeking a temporary Window Fabricator to join the team, they are offering a competitive salary of £13-£17ph DOE and offering work for the next 1-2 months, this role is perfect for professionals seeking interim work or a short-term opportunity while exploring their next long-term opportunity.

Duties for the

Successful Temporary Fabricator

• Fabricating aluminium windows and doors from technical drawings and production documents
• Operating machinery as well as carrying out assembly work using hand and power tools in line with technical manuals
• Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
• Packing and loading finished products ready for delivery and export
• Unloading and checking incoming deliveries
• Handling materials and finished products safely in line with manual handling procedures
• Assisting with remedial work on-site when required
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Experience Required to be Considered for the

Temporaray Fabricator Role

• Previous experience working with aluminium is essential either within fabrication or assembly.
• Experience operating mitre saws and CNC machinery would be advantageous
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and production documents
• Strong practical and hands-on skills
• Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
