North Somerset Council • North Somerset, South West England
About this role
The Role
I am delighted to let you know about an exciting new opportunity in our social care academy!
This year, we are recruiting a cohort of international social workers to join our teams.
To ensure that we offer the best possible induction and ongoing support to our international recruits, we will be providing the new starters with a tailored induction within our Academy, and ongoing support throughout their first year of practice in North Somerset.
The induction and continuing support will be led by a dedicated Practice Educator, and we are offering a 12-month fixed-term post for this role!
If you are an experienced social worker, with direct experience of supporting others, particularly those who are new to practice in the UK, please get in touch.
We’d love to hear about your social work experience to date, why you’d like to step into this role, and what you think you would bring to it.
