As we continue to grow our portfolio of events, including exciting new launches in Poland and Abu Dhabi, we're looking for a driven and enthusiastic Delegate Communications Executive to join our team in Bristol.
The Role
This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone looking to launch their career in the events industry. As a Delegate Communications Executive, you'll play a key role in ensuring our events are attended by the right people. You'll be based at our Bristol office and responsible for proactively reaching out to industry professionals via phone, email, and LinkedIn, building relationships, and securing delegate registrations across our portfolio of trade shows.
What You'll Be Doing
Proactively contacting prospective delegates via phone, email, and LinkedIn to promote attendance at Fortem International events
Building and managing a pipeline of prospects using our CRM system
Using LinkedIn to identify, connect with, and engage relevant industry professionals
Developing a strong understanding of each event's target audience and industry
Following up on marketing leads and inbound enquiries in a timely manner
Re-engaging past attendees from previous editions of our shows
Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly delegate targets
Working closely with the marketing and sales teams to align on campaigns and messaging
Accurately recording all activity and communications in the CRM
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident, clear, and professional communicator who is comfortable engaging with people on the phone, via email, and across LinkedIn. You'll be self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude and comfortable working towards targets in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisation and attention to detail are important, and an interest in events, media, or B2B industries is always a bonus.
Polish or Arabic language skills would be a distinct advantage, as we are actively launching new events in Poland and Abu Dhabi, though this is absolutely not a requirement.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Bristol. Candidates must currently live in Bristol or the surrounding area, or be willing and able to relocate prior to starting.
