£13 per hour, we pay weekly every Friday!

We are currently recruiting for a School Kitchen Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy school kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Daily duties will include

• Washing pots, pans, plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, and all used kitchen items.
• Operating the dishwasher where available.
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Replenishing kitchen stock and supplies as required.
• Emptying bins and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
• Reporting any issues, concerns, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor on duty.
• Supporting the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen, catering, or cleaning experience is desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a busy school environment.
• You MUST hold a valid, in-date Enhanced DBS certificate on the Child Barred List to be considered for this role.
• To be a driver & have access to your own vehicle – due to location.
