About this role
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust provides the following stroke services: *Hyperacute and acute stroke care including 7-day HASU ward rounds *24/7 stroke thrombolysis supported by the AGWS stroke telemedicine network, including 24/7 pathway for stroke thrombectomy in Bristol Southmead Hospital *7-day TIA clinics with dedicated slots for MRI brain and carotid imaging *Outpatient stroke follow-up and spasticity clinics *Stroke rehabilitation in Williton Community Hospital (18-bed stroke recovery unit) and South Petherton Community Hospital (16-bed stroke recovery unit) and award-winning county-wide Early Supported Discharge (ESD) service *

- broad portfolio of multi-centre research trials across hyperacute & acute stroke care, and rehabilitation, as part of South-West Stroke Research network
