About the role
We’re looking for a skilled Mason (Multi-Trade Operative) to join our repairs team at Plymouth Community Homes.
This is a hands-on, varied role where your masonry skills will take the lead—but you’ll also use your wider trade experience across a range of repairs and maintenance work. If you want steady work, great benefits, and a company that actually values your trade, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be working on occupied homes across Plymouth, helping keep properties safe, well-maintained, and high quality for our customers.
Your work will include
Brickwork, blockwork & masonry repairs
Roof repairs
Gutter clearance & fixes
Drain unblocking & minor drainage work
Concrete paths – installation & repairs
Fencing (timber & concrete posts)
General multi-trade tasks including
Basic plumbing
Tiling
Decorating
Plastering
Every day is different – expect a mix of jobs where your problem-solving and practical skills really matter.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who
