Education Administrator - Prison Education - HMP Guys Marsh

About this role

Milton Keynes College have a vacancy for an administrator to join the education team based at HMP Guys Marsh. You will be a capable and experienced administrator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be responsible for administrative processes, data entry and maintenance related to the learning experience, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders at the prison and the wider College team. This opportunity involves supporting the Department Manager in the day-to-day administration and operations of the department.

Your ability to work on your own initiative is critical for this role and you will need to have a flexible and resilient approach to your work as it will be busy, varied and time bound. This role would suit a highly organised professional, with an excellent eye for detail and a methodical approach to daily tasks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analysis on student recruitment, retention and success data as well as providing accurate end of month data and funding returns to the main college. You will also carry out general administrative tasks throughout the department, ensuring efficient working practices are maintained and enhanced.
