This is an excellent opportunity for students / graduate to gain valuable NHS experience within a supportive and dynamic Imaging department while maintaining flexible working arrangements through our staff bank.
As a Radiographic Assistant Practitioner, you will work alongside experienced Radiographers and multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of a high-quality imaging service. You will play an important role in patient care, department workflow, and imaging support duties while developing your professional skills in a busy clinical environment.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting Radiographers with basic imaging and patient care
- Preparing patients and clinical areas for procedures
- Supporting departmental flow and patient coordination
- Maintaining high standards of safety, dignity, and confidentiality
- Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
- Ensuring all data is accurately entered into the RIS System
What we're looking for
- 3rd year Diagnostic Radiography students
- Students with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented individuals
