In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing the Trust’s ID badge and access control systems, ensuring staff have the correct identification and secure access to buildings and systems. As the first point of contact for ID and access-related queries, you’ll produce ID cards and fobs, maintain accurate system data, and help resolve access issues efficiently – supporting the safe and secure running of our hospitals.

Alongside this, you’ll also support the delivery of the Trust’s uniform service, helping staff feel prepared and professional in their roles. You will deliver consistently high customer service in a busy environment where priorities can shift quickly.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position (37.5 hours per week, on site). We can offer some flexibility around start and finish times.

You will have a varied day to day, but your main tasks will be

  • Acting as the first point of contact for ID badge and access control queries across the Trust
  • Producing ID cards, fobs,and managing access permissions to ensure staff have the right level of access
  • Investigating and resolving access issues, working with internal teams and software contractors
  • Monitoring stock levels for ID materials and supporting the smooth running of the service
  • Providing support to the uniform service, including processing requests and assisting staff
  • Managing inboxes, prioritising requests, and ensuring timely, accurate response
