Chef – Ocean Exmouth (Seafront Venue)

Full-time hours, including evenings and weekend shifts.

Ocean Exmouth is entering an exciting new chapter. With a new Head Chef on board, we’re transforming our food offer—raising

standards, refreshing menus, and creating a kitchen we’re proud of.

We’re now looking for a Chef to join our growing team and be part of this journey from the ground up.

About the role

You’ll be part of Ocean’s busy kitchen, supporting the team to deliver fresh, high-quality food while developing your skills in a

real working environment.

You’ll

* Prepare and cook food to a good standard, with training and support

* Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations and service

* Learn and follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

* Work across different service styles and menus within the venue

* Build your confidence and capability in a professional kitchen

* Get involved as menus and ways of working continue to evolve

What we’re looking for

You don’t need loads of experience attitude is what matters most.

This could suit

* Someone starting out in hospitality who wants to build a career in the kitchen

* A Chef with some experience looking to develop further

* A team player who enjoys a busy, hands-on environment

* Someone reliable, motivated and proud of the work they do

Ideally, you’ll bring

* A genuine interest in food and cooking

* A positive, can-do approach

* Willingness to learn and take feedback

* Basic food hygiene understanding (or willingness to gain)

* Confidence with basic systems for ordering and stock control
