We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Team Leader to join our airport hospitality team at Exeter Airport someone who enjoys

leading people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a long-term career in hospitality leadership.

About the Role

You’ll be at the heart of the operation leading shifts, supporting your team, and helping deliver a consistently great customer

experience in a busy airport environment.

This is a visible leadership role, where you’ll

* Lead from the front during service

* Take ownership of shifts and team performance

* Build confidence managing people, pace, and pressure

* Play a key part in maintaining high standards every day

You won’t just follow processes; you’ll help shape how the team works and improves.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Leading shifts and supporting day-to-day operations

* Coaching and motivating your team in real time

* Creating a positive, energetic team environment

* Making sure service runs smoothly during busy periods

* Supporting with rotas and staffing decisions

* Maintaining high standards across food safety, hygiene and H&S

* Spotting opportunities to improve service and team performance

What We’re Looking For

You might already be a Team Leader, Supervisor, or strong front-of-house team member ready to step up.

What matters most is

* A passion for hospitality and great service

* Confidence leading people or wanting to grow into it

* A hands-on, “lead by example” mindset

* The ability to stay calm and positive under pressure

* A genuine interest in developing yourself and others

Shift Pattern (Important to Know)

This role includes early morning starts, so reliable transport to Exeter Airport is essential.

To recognise this

* Hours worked between 12am–6am are paid at time and a half (£20.13 per hour)
