Teaching Assistant, Culverhill School 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am-3.45pm. Term time only plus 6 Inset days, Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2027.
Salary
£32,597 - £35,412 (full time equivalent), actual salary £24,627 - £26,754 per annum, plus generous sick pay and pension scheme.Culverhill is a special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties, where we’re passionate about helping every child thrive. Role overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of our students and their families. Working alongside the class teacher and the classroom support team, you will help implement our holistic curriculum, which is designed to support students in achieving their planned goals, improving communication and social skills, accessing therapeutic support, and overcoming barriers to learning.
You will be an key member of the class support team, providing both direction and support, while maintaining high standards of teaching and fostering an engaging learning environment.
You will be able to develop relationships with families and to share with them the steps of their child’s educational journey.
