Patient Liaison Administrator

About this role

Patient booking and telephone support Receive incoming calls from patients and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner. Make outbound calls to patients to arrange, confirm, amend, or cancel appointments. Book patients into appropriate clinic slots in line with service requirements, availability, and booking protocols. Provide patients with clear appointment information, including date, time, location, and any preparation instructions. Respond appropriately to patient queries, escalating clinical or complex concerns to the relevant team where required. Administrative support Accurately enter, update and maintain patient and appointment information on relevant systems. Process referrals, appointment changes and clinic updates in line with agreed procedures. Prepare and send letters, emails and other routine communications. Monitor shared inboxes and administrative workflows, ensuring tasks are dealt with in a timely manner. Assist with general office and operational administration as required.Compliance and standards Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and handle information in line with GDPR, data protection requirements and company policies. Work in line with company procedures, service protocols and expected quality standards. Contribute to a positive patient experience through professional communication and attention to detail. Take part in training, team meetings, and service improvement activities as required.
