Here at University Hospitals Dorset we have an exciting opportunity for an 18-month fixed term full-time training post in Echocardiography. This is part of the Echocardiography Training Programme (ETP) developed by the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) and funded by Health Education England.

University Hospitals Dorset is based across two main sites where the echocardiography training would take place – Poole Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Both sites have a dedicated and enthusiastic team of highly specialised Echocardiographers who are excited about the opportunity to recruit and train the suitable candidate for this role.

Applicants should be highly motivated and passionate about cardiology. Full details of entry criteria are available on the NSHCS website. Successful ETP trainees will be trained to BSE accreditation level 2 and will be awarded a Post-graduate Certificate in Clinical Echocardiography. For more information, please see the NSHCS website.
