SSL Conversions are a long-established premium campervan conversion company building high-end bespoke campers for customers across the UK and Europe.
Over the years we have built a strong reputation within the industry and are now regarded as one of the leading companies in our sector.
Due to continued growth, increasing demand and our recent move into a larger new premises, we are looking for an organised, proactive and highly capable Operations & Customer Coordinator to join the team.
Our build slots are booked well into the future and the business continues to grow, so this is a long-term opportunity for the right person to become a key part of the company.
The Role
This is not a slow-paced admin role where you sit waiting for instructions.
We need someone who naturally takes ownership, keeps things moving, spots problems early and enjoys being productive.
You will work closely with the director and workshop team helping organise builds, communicate with customers, coordinate operations and improve the day-to-day running of the business.
The right person will quickly become heavily involved in the organisation and running of the company.
Responsibilities
Operations & Organisation
Helping keep camper builds organised and moving forward day-to-day
Making sure materials and parts are ordered and arrive on time
Keeping track of build progress and upcoming work
Helping the workshop stay organised and prepared ahead of future builds
Keeping build schedules organised and moving forward
Chasing suppliers, deliveries and returns
Managing spreadsheets, job trackers and admin systems
Assisting with invoicing and paperwork
Organising customer handovers
Helping improve organisation and systems throughout the business
Spotting issues early and helping solve them before they become bigger problems
Helping maintain momentum across multiple live projects at once
Customer Communication
Updating customers throughout their build
Communicating professionally with customers, suppliers and the workshop team
Helping create a smooth and positive customer experience from start to finish
Social Media & Brand
Taking ownership of the company’s social media and helping grow the brand online
Creating and uploading regular content across platforms including Instagram and Facebook
Helping professionally showcase builds, behind-the-scenes work and completed campers
Experience with social media content creation is preferred, however training and support can be provided to the right person with the right attitude and organisational skills.

This role would suit someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in getting things done properly and likes helping drive a business forward.
It would not suit someone who prefers a slow-paced environment or needs constant direction throughout the day.
Experience
Experience in operations, coordination, administration or customer service would be useful, but attitude is more important to us than background.
